City of God

Born in 1987, Travis spent the first four years of his life on the island of Luzon, Philippines.  In 1991 his parents moved to Arizona to serve at the Aviation headquarters of New Tribes Mission.  Sixteen years later, in 2006, Travis moved to Jackson Michigan, where he attended New Tribes Bible Institute and met his future wife, Amanda.  The following summer of 2007, moved to the city of Chicago where he began studying for a double major in Biblical Studies and Mass Communication at Moody Bible Institute.  One year later, on June 7^th 2008, Travis and Amanda were married.

Today, Travis and Amanda live in the Windy City, actively seeking the furtherance of the Kingdom (the City of God).  Travis continues his full time studies while working part time for the Institute.  Amanda presently works at Pooch Chicago as a manager and has since stared her own dog blog known as “Going to the Dogs”.  On weekends they both attend Northwind Church, where they have built close friendships and are continually walking by faith in this growing community.
